New Year's Build Challenge 2023!

To ring in the new year, we are challenging each of our players to build their own virtual fireworks show in our New Year's Build Challenge 2023!

Challenge Details

• Participants will be instructed on how to use advanced Minecraft mechanics to create a virtual fireworks show that's unique to them!
  

• We will be turning down the lights in our Minecraft server to “night time” and helping each participant record videos of their fireworks show to share with their friends and families!

Build Inspiration Here is what you'll need to build a firework show in Minecraft and some helpful tips!

• Redstone dust

• Redstone Repeaters

• Dispensers

• Paper

• Gunpowder

• A Firework Star

• Add a Gold Nugget to make a star-shaped explosion

• Add a Creeper Head to create an explosion in the shape of a creeper

• Add Glowstone Dust to create twinkle effects

• Add Diamonds to create a trail effect after the explosion

Build Time

The challenge begins on January 9th, 2023, and ends on January 29th, 2023

Prize Players that participate in the challenge will have their names entered into a prize giveaway on January 29th, 2023 -- and as a special bonus we'll be selecting two prize winners! Players that win will receive their choice of 1 Month Free to our Esports League or a $15 Gift Card to Xbox or Gamestop!

Gameplay Rules

• Players will build individually to create their own virtual Fireworks Shows.

• Players are not allowed to edit or destroy other creations that are not their own.
